How can I connect with other participants from a Live Hosted Cloud Class?
The Graduate Space has different tools for you to connect with other participants:
Discussions
You may connect with others by posting on the Discussions tab and sharing insights, thoughts, or emotions you are experiencing with the class.
These posts are visible to all participants to read and comment on.
If you want to react to a post published by another participant, you can:
Click on "Like."
Write a comment in the text field below the post. In this case, you will have the same tools as when writing a post. When finished, click on the blue arrow. You can also expand the text field by dragging the bottom right corner.
Follow the discussion. You will receive a notification whenever a new reply is posted to the discussion thread.
Helpful tips
You can filter and search comments according to the topic. To do so, please click on the magnifying glass at the right and filter by author, topic or title.

Direct messaging
You can also write a message to a specific participant to keep the conversation private. To do so, click the dialog icon in the upper right-hand menu (1). Write the name of the participant you want to contact (2) and click on the magnifying glass (3).
To open a messaging window, click on the name of the person.
Once you open the messaging window, write your message at the bottom. When finished, click on the black arrow. To find other functionalities, click on the three dots beside the participant's name.
