✍️ Why do I have to use a 12-character password?

Longer passwords are one of the simplest and most effective ways to strengthen your account against unauthorized access. 

By moving from 8 to 12 characters (or more), we’re aligning with the latest best practices to help safeguard your personal data, your purchases, and your private space in the Crimson Circle store. 

This small change creates a stronger barrier against potential security threats, while ensuring that your account — and your journey with us — stays protected.

To update your password, here's the step-by-step:

(1) Open the Login screen of the Store.

(2) Click the "Forgot password" link.

(3) Enter the Email address that you use for your Store account.

(4) Click Send Reset Code.

(5) Go to your inbox and open the email you will receive.  If you don't see the email in your inbox, please check your junk mail folder, as it may have been redirected there.

(6) Copy the code from the email.

(7) Enter your new password and confirm it in the textbox below.

Note: Click the “eye” symbols on the right of each password textbox to reveal what you have just typed. This is to ensure it is what you intended to enter.

Avoid using password managers, as they may fill in the fields with incorrect data (even if the email address appears the same). You can also type your new password somewhere else, where you can see it (like a Notepad or any text editor), and then copy and paste it into the New Password fields.

Make sure you are using 12 characters or more.

(9) Click "Submit."

(10) Now, log in to the Store normally, typing or pasting your new password.
