How can I get in touch with other attendees?
Once you register for an in-person event, you will get access to that event's space on the Online Connection Center, where you will be able to have more in-depth information about the venue, schedule, attendees and receive all important notifications about the event.
This space allows attendees to share and communicate within the same space (chat room or private messages), which means there won’t be Facebook Groups for in-person events anymore.
NOTE: to receive notifications on your email, please make sure you click the "Follow" button and enable email notifications on your profile. To learn more, please go to How can I disable email notifications from the Connection Center?
Chat and messaging
To chat with other attendees, please go to the Discussion tab, which functions like a chat room.
You can also write a direct message to a specific participant to keep the conversation private. To do so, click the dialog icon in the upper right corner menu.
Write the name of the person you want to contact and click on the magnifying glass. Click on the name to open a messaging window. Once you open the messaging window, go to the bottom and write your message. When finished, click on the black arrow.
To find other functionalities, click on the three dots beside the participant's name.

If you are interested in learning which other attendees are part of the event, please go to the left side menu (three horizontal lines - 1), click on the name of the event (2), and then click on participants (3).
