The Keahak App is not working
Is the Keahak app giving you trouble? Is it freezing, you can't download a third session, you don't see a recording, it's crashing unexpectedly, or displaying a "Not Responding" message? Don't worry, these things can happen, and we're here to help you get back on track! This guide will walk you through some common solutions to resolve these issues.
Understanding Why Apps Crash or Freeze
Apps can crash or freeze for various reasons, including:
Low memory: Your device might be running out of memory.
Software conflicts: Another app might be interfering with the Keahak App.
Outdated app: You might be using an older version of the app.
Device issues: Your device's operating system (Android or iOS) might have problems or be outdated.
Connectivity Issues: Intermittent connectivity can also be a cause, especially if the app relies on live data.
Quick Fixes - Try These First!
Force Quit the App: This is the first thing you should try!
Restart the App: After force-quitting, wait a few seconds and then re-open the Keahak App from your home screen.
Restart Your Device: A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches.
Check Your Internet Connection: Make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. Try opening a website to test your internet.
Advanced Troubleshooting - If the Quick Fixes Don't Work
Clear the App Cache.
-
Refresh the App Cache:
- Navigate to the Home Screen: Ensure you are on the main menu where all the Keahak programs are listed.
- Pull Down: Place your finger near the top of the screen and swipe downward in a smooth motion until you see a circling arrow.
- Release to Refresh: Once you see the circling arrow, release your finger, and the app will reload its content and update.
Update the App: Open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and look for the update option in your account. Outdated apps can be buggy, so updating is important.
Free Up Device Storage: If your device is running low on storage, it can cause apps to crash. Delete unnecessary files, photos, videos, and apps.
Close Other Apps: Having too many apps running in the background can strain your device's resources. Close any apps you're not actively using.
Check for Operating System Updates: Make sure your device's operating system (Android or iOS) is up to date. Go to "Settings" > "Software Update" (or "System Update") and check for updates.
