How to disable tracking protection?
If you are receiving a “Connection Tracker Detected" error message, this means that a privacy or security app on your device is blocking the Keahak app from connecting to the internet.
Some browsers and apps include built-in protections that block certain background connections. While these features are designed to increase privacy, they can sometimes prevent the secure communication that the Keahak App needs in order to verify your login. To find examples of these apps, please go to the bottom of the article.
To resolve the issue, here are a few things you can try:
- Temporarily disable any privacy protection, tracking blocker, VPN, or security app on your device. If possible, uninstall the browser or security app you have.
- Review browser privacy settings if you have browsers such as DuckDuckGo, Brave, or others with strict blocking features installed on your device.
- Disable Android’s “App Tracking Protection” or Private DNS settings if enabled. Go to Google Support for more information.
- Fully close the Keahak App and reopen it before trying to log in again.
- Restart your device after making any changes.
In most cases, adjusting one of these settings resolves the issue.
We completely respect everyone’s choice to use privacy tools. However, the login process does require a secure exchange of information with our servers, and sometimes those protections unintentionally block it.
Examples of tools that may cause this include:
- Browsers with strong privacy settings (such as DuckDuckGo, Brave, Tor, LibreWolf, Mullvad, Epic, or similar)
- VPN services
- Firewall or security apps that block background connections
