How can I set up the multi-factor authentication for my account?

The multi-factor authentication is an extra layer of security for your Crimson Circle store account, which means that the store will ask you for an additional code, email, and password when logging into your account.

This will also apply whenever you need to reset your password.

NOTE: If you choose the authenticator app option, activating MFA using two devices is highly recommended to simplify the process.

Here are the steps to activate it:

Step 1: Create your account

Step 2: Verify your email.

A message will appear instructing you to add a code, which we will send to your email. If you haven't received the code, click on the "Resend the code" link for the system to resend it. This link is activated one minute after the last code was sent.

Check your email inbox for an Email verification code from Crimson Circle. Just so you know, you will only need to do this once.

Add the verification code from the email to the form and click "Submit."

Step 3: Choose a multi-factor authentication (MFA) method.

To set up your MFA, you have two options:

1. Email authentication. With this option, you will receive a code from Crimson Circle in your email every time you log in.

2. Authenticator app: Here, you need to download an authenticator app to your mobile device or link an existing one to your Crimson Circle account.

Email: Check your inbox for the code and enter it in the corresponding field to complete the login process.

Using an authenticator app.
- You will need to select one option - Google or Microsoft.
- Scan the QR code with your device's camera, and it will take you to the App Store or Google Play to download it.

If you already have an authenticator app downloaded, go directly to step 3 (click Next on your screen).

1. Select your device	2. Select which authenticator service you will use and scan the QR code with your mobile device's camera to download it. Once finished, click on "I have the Authenticator App installed."

3. Open your authenticator app on your mobile device, click on the "+" icon, and scan the QR code you will see on the screen you are setting up MFA for your CC store account. You can also add it manually by clicking on the copy icon on the right of the manual key and pasting it in the corresponding field on your authenticator app.	4. Type the Code from your authenticator app in the login page.
